From Toddler Tricks to World Record Wizard: My Wild Ride Back to Magic

Hey everyone, Ian Stewart here – the World's Fastest Magician according to Guinness World Records!

Picture this: a 3-year-old me, wide-eyed and hyper, seeing a magician at my playschool. His last name was Petrash, and I became good friends with his father when I was in my 20s. I was hooked. Little did I or anyone else know, this was the start of a lifelong adventure—from backyard shows to juggling chainsaws on Germany's Got Talent amongst a lot of other places.!

Leveling Up: Juggling at Age 7

Fast forward to age 7, Christmas morning, I got a copy of “Juggling for the Complete Klutz” with 3 beanbags. I nailed the three-ball cascade. It felt like magic – controlling chaos in the air. From there, I dove deeper: clubs, rings, fire torches... and eventually, live chainsaws.

The Full Circle: Back to Magic with a Bang

Enter COVID. I returned to my roots – pure, mind-melting magic. On May 4th in Halifax, Nova Scotia, I performed 52 magic tricks in ONE MINUTE – cards vanishing, coins multiplying, silks twisting – all in 60 seconds flat.

Why Magic Wins (Every Time)

Magic is fun, plain and simple. From seeing that first show at my playschool to performing 52 tricks in a minute, it’s been one incredible ride. What’s next? Another record? You bet. The show is just getting started!
